Your work is a little mind boggling. I very much respect your evident patience to deal with the time it would take to do this. Often, realistic or hyper-realistic stuff bores me, even when I respect the work that goes into it, but I find myself looking at your pieces for a long time. Certainly, part of that is my curiosity of how you actually manage to create such detail, but also because unlike many realistic pieces yours have a lot of "soul" to them. I think this one is my favourite as it has some "painterlyness" to it and sets up an interesting contrast with the realism.
This looks amazing. I love how the face seems to appear from the canvas. You should do more like this, the mix between the messy paint drips and impeccably detailed face is perfect. I'm going to watch you hoping that you explore the messy/ultra clean contrast more!
